Alright, I've seen enough of November Cory. Time to put Witt back in.

Ok...some of these fouls are ticky tack...especially considering the physical play of cleveland state.

It's hard to believe how slow we are getting back on defense. More than that we're not even turning around to see the ball coming until it's too late. Something new to work on...

I think it's time that Valpo put Witt back in. Johnson and Van Wijk are just not getting it done.

Unless we start hitting some of these three pointers Valpo doesn't have a chance.

Ryan just needs to shoot when he is open. He is such a good shooter and when he gives up the ball that gives Valpo more of a chance to turn the ball over. Valpo still has a great chance to win this game though.

And the CSU announcer calling for a foul on Ndaye against Cory. No call.

If you're going to call every touch foul on Valpo, then call the foul when we get hammered down low. The inconsistency is ridiculous.

the thing that's frustrated me the most over the last several years-what is it about getting that 4th foul then deciding to lay off a guy? or even 3? the post players have to try to draw more fouls inside.

The thing that Valpo really needs is for Butler to act like a spoiler and regroup against the Vikings and knock off Cleveland State for us while the Crusaders take care of business against Youngstown.

I really hate the way CSU plays, they completely ruin the game by blinding the refs with 100s of fouls. That being said, we need to toughen up and play smart against these guys. How many 3s did Jay just dribble around and chuck up?! WTF was that? Cory played soft and dumb, same with Van Wijk and Wood. The only two who came to play were Ryan and Howard.

Two things are for certain: ---Cole is MVP of the league. ---There is ZERO chance we will get any help from Butler on Saturday.

Two things are for certain: ---Cole is MVP of the league. ---There is ZERO chance we will get any help from Butler on Saturday. Cole is a fantastic player. Holy crap is he fast, although I think he might have looked a little faster juxtaposed to our guys slowly trotting back on D. All that being said, he needs to lose that nasty 80s do.

So we have 19 assts and 5 turnovers and we lose?? Amazing. Our two stars disappear. I still think this team is amazing. They don't want to play us for the title. And Cole? He is the POY other than Howard who would be if Butler hadn't fallen on their face.

It is hard to look sharp in a game if the whole team hasn't been able to have a good practice together for several weeks. It really showed tonight that Wood has missed some practice time, I'm sure he'll be back to his normal self in a few weeks. That said, CSU players left their feet everytime we drove to the basket, but instead of jumping into them, we tried to fade away or flip it over them. When CSU drove to the basket, they jumped into the defender and got to the line.
