Great game tonight guys. Was at the game and I gotta say you guys brought your fair share of fans. The cell was intense at times. I still think you guys will host the tourney but I am hoping that results in Milwaukee grabbing the #2 seed and taking a few days off with you guys. If we beat Cleveland St. next week then the #2 seed is very likely as is a conference title for you guys. Again great game guys and hopefully we'll see you in the Finals!

This is the first time I've had trouble with the video on a HLN game. This was ridiculous...too many trying to watch? Can't be the cable because it always has worked before, so had to be something else....I tried two different computers and got the same on both I didn't have any problems watching those great Horizon League ads though. The video would never cut out during those.

We won this same kind of game against WSU last Saturday. Tip of the hat to the Panthers.

The Detroit at Valpo, Wright State at Valpo and tonight's game. Every time the screen froze up for long periods of time. So I listen to the WAKE radio broadcast and catch whatever video becomes available on the video feed.

I was at the cell last night and let me give you a few observations. 1. Rodgers didn't lose that game for VU on a grand scheme. Yes, He missed two wide open bunnies that my 10 year old son would've made. It was baffling. BUT, we lost that game because once again the team CANNOT HIT FREE THROWS. If they'd have hit half their missed attempts from the line theyh'd have won handily. 2. UWM students are about the worst I've seen. I love better than anyone an awesome, vocal student section. In that respect the Panther students were great. But the Constant chants of A&&Hole, A$$hole ALL NIGHT LONG really bugged me. Act like you've been there before. 3. Cory got two ridiculous fouls called on him in the first minute of the second half, which gave him three with about 18 minutes left. He wasn't the same after.

Yeah, the Horizon feed was bad. But I have to say Valpo showed very resillient effort again in a road game. All the intangibles favored Milwaukee last night--senior night etc. and a big win streak, but we just kept coming back. That will pay off in the tourney.
Just 3 losses on the road so far? I'd take that any day. But this hurts because UWGB is a bad match due to size and it is a quick Monday game after Saturday. However, as others have said, UWGB travels a LONG way home from a Carbondale, IL bracketbuster game.

Being a Milwaukee student and being at the game last night I know what you mean. While I love being involved in a loud, pride filled student section it did get a little over the top at times last night. Some of the @sshole chants were justified when they were toward the ref on 2 calls that I can think of. However I don't remember who it was on your team but the one who knocked Allen off the rim got a @sshole chant too. I didn't think that was necessary as it looked to me like he was trying to make a play and Allen ended up going down hard. I also thought it was classy of him to go over by Allen when he was on the floor to check to see how he was doing. Other chants were just the norm for any student section and overall I thought it was a decent crowd but I think only 2 or 3 of the dozen or so @sshole chants were justified in my opinion.

Well I guess I disagree a bit. Its no different when a section chants BULL-$HIT...BULL-$HIT. If a ref or someone made a ridiculous call or missed an easy call I say let 'em have it. Like I said doing it constantly is way overdoing it but once in a while I have no problem with it.

The bad stuff I heard in Milwaukee came from so-called grown-ups, or maybe they should be labeled overgrown adolescents. (Not quite as bad as at YSU, however, where the adult "fans" are just the pits.)

Chanting “bad call” or “you’re a ninny” just doesn’t carry the same weight. Haha
