It snowed on the travel day to Oklahoma City in 1998...
(don't you just hate people who live in the past???)

it snowed on the way back from the milwaukee game in 08, and our bus almost hit a car that spun out right in front of us.
although...both games mentioned here were wins, so maybe it's a good omen...

I hope our guys come out fully motivated - they have every reason.
I wonder if Green Bay might be missing some intensity? They can certainly continue to fight with Loyola for the 7 vs 8 seed. But, they'd have to win out, and get help from Detroit, to host a first round game. And are on a five game losing streak. Will they be able to find much motivation?
That said, they have a good record of defending their home court. We'll need at least a B/B+ game, and had better bring out A game!

Drove to Youngstown in a blizzard this year to watch the team. Risked my life but had the best time cheering on the team with the few parents who made the game

Sounds like it should be over by tomorrow morning? So, if the roads are cleared promptly, hopefully the drive from Kokomo's not too bad.
Safe driving!
Some predictions called for a few inches on the southern shores of Lake Michigan. But, looks like Valpo will dodge this one. (Or maybe I'll wake up to a surprise in the morning.)

I'm not sure if it makes any difference but Green Bay has lost 5 in a row. The last two have been close though, losing by a combined 3 points.
I'm expecting a Valpo win.

This is a very, very important game. Much more so than the Missouri State game. Home court is going to matter...
