Dude, do you see a pattern here? Perhaps you and rink could team up and get a group discount at the local shrink. I'll respond better tomorrow, right now I am enjoying the game. Let's put it this way...Chris Halvorsen. Ha ha

Cory Johnson getting run over at the end of the half was the worst no-call I have seen this season.

That last 35 seconds did not go well. Refs blew the shot clock call. There was a change in possession and should have reset that clock. It'd be nice if the announcers explained what's going on the court. The Witt was boxing out, either let some physical play go or call it both ways. Good news is it's only 4 pt game at the half. Hopefully, Cory is ok. Rest up, lots of fluids and know you only have 20 more minutes, let it all hang out. Kenney also needs to be more assertive. He is playing tentative and indecisive. Broekoff needs to have another good 2d half.

Cory Johnson getting run over at the end of the half was the worst no-call I have seen this season. there's on-going debate on whether or not that is a foul. as well as whether or not mccallum saw the screen and plowed cory over anyway.

Matt Kenney is not very good at basketball. I have no idea why he gets the minutes that he does. He's not working out. Two possibilities: 1)He doesn't watch much Valpo basketball or, 2)He has no idea what he is saying.

I'd have gotten a technical too... I'd be considering getting tossed at this point...

If I'm Homer I would start my Presser with, I only have a couple words--congrats to the seniors for a tremendous season, we hope we get to play some more basketball. Little, Rogers and Cory have assisted our transistion to the Horizon and have had us one win from tying for a championship. They deserve to play more hoops. We fought hard all night against some tough odds. We battled and the seniors deserved to be on the court more in that game. We had out chances and we didn't convert. Second, I'd like to point out the foul disparity in this game. Without risking a fine, that's all I'll say about that and the techincal. Finally, Milwaukee is a fine team, they had a determined effort too and Hill is a great player.

Well, I'd say we were hosed by the refs although they are just more physical than we are and it showed. That, coupled with obviously tired legs, got us.
A well played game by both sides. Congrats to Milwaukee and good luck against Butler!
Now, what's up for us??

The team deserves a lot of credit for keeping it as close as they did given the ridiculous way this game was called. What did they shoot, 30+ fouls to our 9? Foul out our two big men and that's a bit much for any team to overcome, let alone one that has already played two games to the other teams none in this tournament. Oh., and it's easy to be the more physical team when it's clear you're not going to be called for it and the other team is!

I have no idea what season rink's been watching, but Matt Kenney has been just fine this year. He didn't have a very good game tonight, but he's had tons of excellent games. The officiating was, to say the least, highly questionable and significantly one-sided. It's most likely not the reason why we lost (it never is, right?). Having to play 4 tournament games instead of only 2 (with a week off) had something to do with it, but we have no one to blame for that but ourselves. I would say, root for Milwaukee Tuesday night, because I really doubt the HL sends 3 teams to the NIT. Unless John Templon's predictor is right and CSU gets an at-large bid

Hopefully we play somewhere this March.
Fun but a disappointing season.
